Welcome to Hālau Hula I Ka Lā - Hula School In The Sun. We are a hālau hula (hula school) based in Clovis, California. Our vision is to encourage and elevate the Aloha Spirit by engaging our community in both traditional and contemporary art forms, expressing aloha through ceremonial and creative practices.
As part of our mission, we offer presentations, lessons and programs for our Kaiāulu (community) to experience the values that are fundamental to the Hawaiian people. We have been honored to share our hula and aloha with after-school programs, college level courses, senior living residents, multi-cultural events, as well as corporate and private functions.
